He was predeceased by: his great-grandparent Ruth H. Godfrey; and his grandparents, James E. Leonard, Joyce Small Roseberry, Chester Woltz Flippen and Mary Alice Deaton Flippen.
He is survived by: his parents, Samuel "Sammy" Mamon Flippen, Sr. and Kimberly Leonard Flippen; his sons, Mechanical and Caiden Gabriel Flippen of Asheboro; the mother of his child Natalie Dawn Hanes of Asheboro; his siblings, Hannah Nicole Flippen of Denton and Samuel Flippen, Jr. (Nicole) of Sellersburg, IN; and his nieces and nephews, Grayson Flippen, Baela Sowers, Kinley Flippen and Emmie Lou Hayes. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, extended family and friends.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday, January 9, 2021 from 3:30-4:30 PM at the J. C. Green and Sons funeral home in Thomasville with mask and social distancing required.
