He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Dane Shuskey and Frances Gourley Shuskey; and his wife Janice Hatley Shuskey. He is survived by: his sons, Darren Shuskey (Shannon) of Thomasville and Daniel Shuskey (Stephanie) of Asheboro; his siblings, Eugene "Gene" Shuskey (Kathy), Christopher Shuskey (Kim), Sandy Hoover (Jeff) and Donna Carrick; and his grandchildren, Moses, William, Sadie, Jack and Josiah.
