She is survived by: her son Jesse Turner of Lexington; her grandchildren, Bailee Gracelynn Turner and David Blake Turner; and her siblings, Jesse Nolan "Jay" Lanier, Jr. (Denise) of Denton, Saundra Lanier Buie of Denton and Gayla Lanier Hedrick (Jimmy) of Lexington. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
