He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Graham Rackley and Mary Catherine Rayner Rackley; and his son Walter Larry Rackley. He is survived by: his sons, Joseph Lee Rackley (Melissa) of Welcome and Glen Rackley of Denton; and his siblings, Homer Rackley of Durham, Marshall Rackley of Lexington, Helen Rayner of Jacksonville and Evelyn Bass of Wilmington. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
