He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Edward, Sr. and Ruby Chase Bass. He is survived by: his wife Jean Daniels Bass; his children, Brian Bass, Greg Bass and Dawn Bass; and his brothers, Jerry Bass (Cathy), Ronald Bass (Ernestine) and Donald Bass (Vicky). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Wayne Memorial Park (2925 US-117, Dudley, NC 28333).
