He was predeceased by: his parents, Theophelus Carlton and Estelle Lucas Bayles; and his brother-in-law Jack Matthews. He is survived by: his wife Faye Parker Bayles; his daughter Dayna Bayles Murphy (Steve) of Raleigh; his granddaughter Karli Ryann Murphy of Raleigh; his sister Shirley Bayles Matthews of Sanford; and his pet Dolly.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Antioch Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church (2118 Arrowhead Rd, Dunn, NC 28334). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
