It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dewey Tull Lawson of Durham, North Carolina, who passed away on March 11, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Dewey Lawson and Ann Becton Lawson of Smithfield; his parents-in-law, Benjamin Walton Booker (Put) and Ruth Neal Booker of Smithfield; and his daughter-in-law Jennifer Lynn Lawson.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Booker Lawson (Bet) of Durham; his sons, Jonathan Dewey Lawson (Susan Marie Gleason) of Seattle and Neal Becton Lawson (Becky Wagner Lawson) of Arlington, VA; his grandchildren, Cooper, Sadie Lawson, Caroline, Alden and C. J. Wagner; his sister Debra Lawson Emmons of Raleigh; and his sibling's children, Alicia Gagliardi, Suzanne Jones, Joanna Cash, Lindsay Kornely, Lawson Love and Logan Kalmbach.
