She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Guy Forbes and Lynda Ange Forbes; her husband Vernon Lee Browning; and her siblings, Dowell Guy Forbes, Clarence Wesley Forbes, Earl Benjamin Forbes, Ernestine Forbes Daniels, Otie Forbes Hollis and Barbara Forbes Burch.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Browning McKeown (Lamar Caldwell), James Leon Browning and Dr. Douglas Guy Browning (Kit); her grandchildren, Benjamin McKeown (Mallory Magelli McKeown), Kaitlin McKeown Gruenke (Jonathon), Anna McKeown Wessler (Garrett), Sierra Browning, Avery Browning and Spencer Browning; and her great grandchildren, Grady McKeown and Luca McKeown.
Her alto voice graced the choir for 67 years, until the pandemic shuttered the choir loft.
