With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marcia Ann Wood in Durham, North Carolina, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on July 27, 2020 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Annette Murphy and Frank Murphy; and her husband John L. Wood. She is survived by : her children, Merry Ann Davis (Wade), Colleen Bartlett (Scott), Kathleen Wood (David), John Jr., Michael (Susan), Patrick (Jill), Christopher and Kevin; her grandchildren, Ruby Davis, Violet Davis, Molly Bartlett, Hannah Bartlett, Halley Ross, Margaret Harmsen, Zachary Wood, Israel Wood and Shannon Wood; and her brother Frank Murphy (Dorothy). She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren and 4 very special nieces and nephews and their wonderful spouses.
When this COVID crap is over, the family will plan a Celebration of Life somewhere wonderful and there will be many, many stories and a river of tears.
