She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius L Knight and Mary F Knight Helen; her husband Charlie L Clifton; and her siblings, Clarence V Knight, Julius F Knight, Sr., Virginia K. Butler and Agnes K Royster.
She is survived by: her son Charles A Clifton of Durham; her brother Alphonso W. Knight, Sr. of Hampton, Virginia; and her siblings-in-law, Carnelle B Clifton of Fort Pierce, Christine C Dixon of Douglasville, Georgia and Sandy L Royster of Aurora. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
