It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Murrell Ashworth (Durham, North Carolina), who passed away on October 4, 2018, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Charlotte Ashworth Wallace and Harold W. Ashworth. He is survived by: his wife Florence Grantham Ashworth; his children, Sheri Dee Allen (Daniel) and Michael Hunter Ashworth (Connie); his grandchildren, Michael Brandon Ashworth (Lisa), Jonathan Hunter Ashworth (Brittany), Megan Ashworth Reaves (Dustin), Peyton Michelle Allen and Madison Ashworth Allen; his great grandchildren, Michael Robert Ashworth, William Lucas Ashworth and Elizabeth Wrenn Reaves; and his brother-in-law John Grantham (Pam). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
