With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Matthews McKnight of East Bend, North Carolina, who passed away on March 8, 2022 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Barbara Matthews McKnight to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Matthews (Bob Jim) and Flora Wall Matthews (Nola); her husband Richard Gray McKnight; her granddaughter April Howard; and her siblings, Katie Davis, Betty Vestal, Frances Hobson, Bobby Matthews, Edward Matthews, Junior Matthews and Lovell Matthews.

She is survived by : her daughters, Donna Myers (David) and Nancy Howard (Kenneth); her grandchildren, Marty Hodges (Michael), Tracy McDonald (Aaron), Jessica Howard (Brent Brown) and Joshua Howard; her great grandchildren, Lillie Howard, Nola Howard-Brown, Katie Mae McDonald, Maelynn McDonald and Hazel McDonald; her brother Archie Matthews (Barbara); and her sister-in-law Rosa Matthews. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
