It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bonnie Jean Jones Tilley of East Bend, North Carolina, who passed away on February 11, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Shermer Jones, Sr. and Elizabeth Slater Jones; her husband Jerry Hassel Tilley; and her sisters, Joy Jones Smith and Rebecca Jones Speaks.
She is survived by: her children, Brandy Hobson Whitaker and Cameron Hobson (Amy); her grandchildren, Hannah Hobson, Tristan Whitaker, Hailey Hobson and Carson Hobson; her great grandchild Lilly Myers; and her siblings, Shermer Jones (Shirley), Phyllis J. McManus, Emily J. Groce and Shelia J. Hardy (Jeffrey). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
