She was predeceased by: her mother Susie Mae Owenby; and her former husband Timothy Kartes. She is survived by: her fiancé Rex Hobson; her daughter Suzanne Hemric (Ike); her granddaughter Nevaeh Pardue (Nik); her great grandchild Riggs Isaac Pardue; her sister Joan Joyce; her niece Katie Joyce; and her close friends, Nancy Draughn and Susan Johnson.
The family would like to request donations be made in her honor to Mountain Valley Hospice & Palliative Care (Woltz Hospice Home) in lieu of flowers.
