She was predeceased by: her parents, G. L. Hennings (Lat) and Lesta Hennings; her husband Glendon E. Wooten; and her brothers, Paul and Grady Hennings.
She is survived by: her children, Emily Duncan (John) of Shallotte, Anne Teeling of Charlotte, Mark Wooten (Joan) of Salisbury, Sarah Price (Marty) of Concord and Glenda Wooten of Pineville; her grandchildren, Jeff Duncan (Lori), Dan Duncan (Julie), Carrie Walton (Dave), Jenna Brown (Jermey), Tyler Wooten (Carly), Elizabeth Newberry (David) and Matthew Price (Annie); her siblings, Alvis Hennings (Jane), Joe Hennings (Annette) and Ruby Murphy; and her brothers-in-law, Leon Wooten (Margaret) and Samuel Wooten (Patricia). She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gentry Family Funeral Service (428 E Main St, East Bend, NC 27018). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Stony Knoll United Methodist Church (2340 Flint Hill Rd, East Bend, NC 27018).
