He was predeceased by: his parents, William Claude Hamby and Gladys Howell Hamby. He is survived by: his wife Susan F. Hamby; his children, David Hamby, Theresa Renee Hamby, Steven Wayne Cooper, Jr. and Scott Colton Cooper; and his brothers, William Claude Hamby, Jr. and Don Hamby. He is also survived by four grandchildren; one great grandson.
