She was predeceased by: her parents, Grady Lee Brown and Inez Matthews Brown; and her brother Robbie Brown. She is survived by: her husband Haywood McClane Barker; her sons, Zachariah McClane Barker, Chase Lee Barker (Emily) and Isaac Robert Barker; and her sisters, Brenda Meenach (Jay), Glenda Booker (Mike) and Karen Googe (Keith). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other family members.
