Lucille Lyon Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lucille Lyon (East Bend, North Carolina), who passed away on May 26, 2020 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Granville Burchette and Elsie Billings Burchette; and her granddaughter Monica Dawn Wallace. She is survived by: her husband Louis Lyon; her daughters, Carolyn Poplin (Gary) of East Bend and Janet Wallace (Mike) of Pfafftown; her grandchildren, Michelle Warden (Randy) of Yadkinville and Bryan Poplin of Wilmington; her great grandchildren, Isaac Warden (Sara) of Winston-Salem and Mackenzie Warden; and her siblings, Shirley Holbrook (Allen) of Traphill and Jerry Bell (Dorothy) of Hayes.
Due to government restriction of Covid-19 there will be no family visitation but Mrs. Lyon will be able to be viewed on Friday May 29, 2020 from 12:00 to 5:00 P. M. at Gentry Family Funeral Service in East Bend.
