He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Davis and Molly Taylor Davis; his daughter Vicky Carter; and his brothers, Jerry Davis and Melvin Davis.
He is survived by: his daughter Fonda Sandwick (Dennis); his grandchildren, Cory Carter and Nicole Ranney; his great grandchildren, Hannah Todd and Arielle Ranney; and his sister Doris Stout.
