She was predeceased by: her sister Elisa Jones; and her aunt Peggy "Daisy" McAuthur. She is survived by: her mother Geraldine France Dobson (Curtis); her sons, Juawan Ferguson (Mackenzie), Olajuwon Ferguson (Syndney) and Calvin Massey, Jr.; her granddaughter Brielle Ferguson; her sisters, Rhonda Wiggins and Renita Fulp (Brian); her nephew Amaury Dobson; and her extended family, Robert Bellamy and James Hauser. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the New Birth Worship Center (1033 Newbirth Dr, East Bend, NC 27018). A memorial service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
