She was predeceased by: her siblings, Jessie William Carter and Karen Carter Matthews. She is survived by: her parents, Carl Carter and Blanche Davis Carter; her son Johnny Carl Hemric; her granddaughter Heather Lutz; her sibling's child Becky Matthews; and her friend Carolyn Hinshaw.
