She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Leroy Speer and Pansy Cave Speer; her husband Vernon Ray Brown; her stepchildren, Marsha Patterson and Kenneth Brown (Davean); her stepgrandsons, Dawson Brown and Todd Patterson; her friends, Star Miller, Norene Swing and Sandra Whitley; and her siblings-in-law, Myra and J. W. Vestal.
