It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Poindexter of East Bend, North Carolina, who passed away on October 7, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Charlie Frank "Jack" and Winnie Myers; her brother Charles; her daughter Amanda Toomey (Richard); her granddaughter Sophia Toomey; her sister-in-law Jessie Myers; and her nieces, Angela Myers Johnson and Kim Myers. She was also cherished by friends, she loved animals and indulged every pet.
