It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilma Jones Haynes (East Bend, North Carolina), who passed away on July 20, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Lewis Jones and Emma Lou Conner Jones; her grandson Jared Haynes; her husband James Lawrence Haynes; and her siblings, Jerry Conner Jones and Joyce Jones Roorback.
She is survived by: her brother David Leslie Jones (Patti); her children, Carolyn Sandoval, Wanda Smith (David), Janet Watkins, Kathryn Porter and John Haynes (Debbie); her granddaughter Georgia Morrison Jamie Troutman (Greg); and her great grandchildren, Marilla, Lillian, Ava Caire, Iris Morrison, Caden, Casey, Zaylee, Colton Troutman, Charlotte Sandoval, Liam Gosnell, Apphia Clark and Emma Rogers.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Gentry Family Funeral Services (428 E Main St, East Bend, NC 27018).
