She is survived by: her siblings, Charlie (Peggy Hairston, Jr.) and Ervine (Earl Ragin); her sister-in-law Marie Hairston; her children, Darlene Hylton (Terry) and Eric Stevenson (Karen); her grandchildren, Portia and Donovan Stevenson; her great grandchildren, Lunden and Langston Huslin; her brothers, Elder Thomas L. and Alexander Hairston; her sister-in-law Brenda Hairston; her uncle Fred Hairston; and her aunt Clara Hairston Blackstock. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
