He was predeceased by: his parents, John Franklin and Gladys Boulding Overby. He is survived by: his friend Church; his wife Marie Overby; his daughters, Kathy "Tank" Overby of Eden and Pam Lewis (Ray) of Cascade, VA; his sisters, Lorene Hartis of Fieldale, VA and Mary Staley of Eden; his grandson Travis Ray Lewis; and his siblings, Dawn Jones, Wayne Overby and Donald Overby.
