It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecil Fuquay Sr. of Eden, North Carolina, born in Danville, Virginia, who passed away on October 11, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Edward Fuquay and Lala Marie Edwards Fuquay; and his brother Draper Fuquay. He is survived by: his children, Melissa Emmerson (Kevin) and Cecil "Ray" Fuquay, Jr.; his grandchildren, Kristen Krider (Dustin) and Elijah Emmerson; his siblings, Cleo Fuquay (Faye), Glen Fuquay (Lugene), Alice Glasgow (Mike) and Bonnie Koch (Harold); and his sister-in-law Cheryl Fuquay.
