It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christine Lewis Powell (Eden, North Carolina), who passed away on June 7, 2011, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Judson Lewis and Beulah Wade Lewis; her husband Elmer Edward Powell; and her siblings, Walter Franklin Lewis and Elizabeth Lewis Carter.
She is survived by: her sister Novella Lewis Sullivan of Stoneville; her niece Modena Price (Bernard) of Danbury, NC; and her nephews, Archie Carter of Greensboro, Lowell Lewis (Dot) of Greensboro, Phillip Lewis of Greensboro and Wade Carter (Skippy) of Raleigh.
