She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Hairston and Rosa Lee Hairston; her daughter Margie Ann Blackstock; and her husband Napoleon Blackstock. She is survived by: her daughters, Margaret Alice Blackstock of Eden, NC and Naomi Theressa Blackstock Sanders of Eden, NC; her siblings, Charlie, Edward, James Hairston, Mary Sue Brown, Anna Strange, Agnes S. Scales, Fannie Sims and Jannie B. Barham; her grandchildren, Avril B. Blackstock of Charlotte, NC and Perry N. Sanders of Greensboro, NC; her great grandchild Malcolm I. Sanders; and her brother Fred Hairston, Jr.. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
