She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Brannock and Elaine Wilson Brannock; and her granddaughter Shya Pulliam. She is survived by: her daughter Serena Pulliam (Kenny) of Eden; her siblings, William Penn Brannock, Jr. (Joyce), Kenny Brannock (Amy) of Eden, David Brannock of Wilmington and Barbara Burton (Tom) of Reidsville; and her grandchildren, Keely, Kyra and Kenna Pulliam. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
