She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas L. Nichols and Martha Setliff Nichols; her husband Edgar Kirkman; her son Dennis Kirkman; and her siblings, Jasper Nichols, Mary Booth, Lucy Chaney, Ollie Chaney, Lessie Wright, Rinda Martin and Goldie Snead.
She is survived by: her son Donald Kirkman (Angela) of Eden; her grandsons, Ian, Ethan and Avery Kirkman of Eden; and her brother Arthur Eugene Nichols of Danville, VA..
