She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Tobe and Susan Keaton Gilley; her husband Cecil A. Howell; and her brothers, Bill, Paul and Pete.
She is survived by: her children, Gloria H. Adkins (Boyd) of Burlington, NC, Leon D. Howell (Susan) of Eden, NC and Kenny L. Howell of Ridgeway, VA; and her sister Eunice G. Gauldin (Jack G. Barker). She is also survived by nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
