She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Collins and Emma Vaughn Collins; her husband Jerry Walker Spencer; and her siblings, Marvin, Nelson, Damon Collins and Arie Barber.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda C. Travis (Edward) of Eden and Debra K. Spencer of Eden; her grandsons, E. Keith Travis and Jeffrey D. Travis; her great grandchildren, Carly P. Travis and Josh R. Travis; her siblings, Neil Collins (Evelyn) of Fruitland Park, FL and Opal Bailey of Princeton, WV; and her siblings-in-law, H. L. "Roy" Barber of Jacksonville, FL, Lolene Collins of Eden, Ruby S. Ramsey and Mabel S. Atkins of Martinsville, VA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
