We are sad to announce that on June 23, 2020, at the age of 99, Elsie McCormick Alderman (Eden, North Carolina), born in Johnson City, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George E. McCormick and Nannie Bell Spencer McCormick; her husband Manuel Arnold Alderman; and her grandson J. W. Soyars. She is survived by: her daughters, Loretta Pitt (Trevor) of Stoneville, Denita Soyars (Will) of Cascade, VA, Tracey White (Dink) of Eden and Jackie Sutliff (Joe) of Eden. She is also survived by one grandchild; nine step-grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
