It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frank Leon Carter (Eden, North Carolina), who passed away on October 27, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hardy Carter and Ollie Cooper Carter; and his siblings, Vermalle Belton, Thalia Watson, Garland and James Carter.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Keener Carter; his children, Kelli Knapp (Robin), Scott Carter and Derek (Michelle Carter); his granddaughters, Maegan Glynn (John) and Michaela Glynn of Jacksonville, NC; his great grandchild Kylan; his niece Sandra Duncan; and his great-niece Koury Gibson.
