He is survived by: his grandchildren, Jamie Knight and Julie Swift of Eden; his great grandchild Tyler Swift; and his sisters, Christine Vernon of Reidsville, Virginia Stratton of Ruffin, Orene Baker of Ruffin and Lilly Taylor of Eden.
