It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Georgia Stowe Hopkins (Eden, North Carolina), who passed away on May 3, 2013, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George William Stowe and Nannie Mae Hall Stowe; her husband Mallie Hopkins; her daughter Susie Vernon; and her grandson Steven Allred.
She is survived by: her children, Betty Harouff of Gibsonville, Linda Riddle (Roy) of Asheville, Frances Phillips of Edenton, Burton Hopkins (Iris) of Graham and Larry Hopkins (Deborah) of Graham; and her grandchildren, Toni Gilbert, Connie Vernon, James Vernon, Darren Allred and Jerry Duggins. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
