She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond Silvers; and her siblings, William Gilley and Deloras Willoughby. She is survived by: her son Bishop Gillie; her grandson Elijah Gillie; and her siblings, Elaine Land of Eden, NC, Sandy Willoughby of Bedford, Virginia, Leroy Gilley of Shallotte, NC, Sam Gilley of Chula Vista and Clyde Gilley Jr. of Mayodan, NC. She is also survived by 18 nieces and nephews and multiple grand nieces and nephews.
The family asks that donations to breast cancer research in her name be given in lieu of flowers.
