She was predeceased by: her parents, Tomie Lee Willard and Minnie Sigmon Willard; her husband Carlis "CJ" Martin; her son Sammy Martin; and her sister Ethel Butler.
She is survived by: her children, Tommy Martin (Sheree) of Greensboro and Tanya Scearce (Terry) of Statesville; and her sister-in-law Betty Martin. She is also survived by five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
