She was predeceased by: her parents, John William and Minnie Miles Mills; her husband H. Delos Pulliam; her siblings, Harvey Mills, Marvin "Buddy" Mills, Frances Hunt and Grace Mills; and her grandson Jay Pulliam.
She is survived by: her children, Wayland Pulliam (Linda) of Ridgeway, Mike Pulliam (Patsy) of Winston-Salem, Ronnie Pulliam (Lorelei) of Afton, VA, Linda Pulliam Hyman (David) of Raleigh, NC and Ann Pulliam Ward (Don) of Wilmington, NC; her sisters, Margaret Mayer (Larry) of Durwood, MD and Mabel Sheffield of Ridgeway; and her grandchildren, David, Aaron Pulliam, Nicole Lijoi, Chris Pulliam, Melanie Morrison, Chloe Morrison and Jacob Ward. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
