She is survived by: her daughters, Lou Ann Gauldin Simpson (Chad) and Felicia Gauldin Edelen; her grandson Jarred Simpson; her stepgrandchildren, Victoria Edelen and Logan Edelen; her sisters, Shirley Cox (Don) and Betty Carter (Marvin); her stepbrothers, Charles Earles, Ray Earles and Connie Earles; and her sister Elizabeth Carter of Eden.
