He was predeceased by: his parents, E. Beverly Hodges and Lenora Gillespie Hodges; and his brother Douglas Hodges. He is survived by: his sister-in-law Belva Jean Hodges Dozier (Bill) of Stoneville, NC; his niece Linda Hodges of Madison; and his nephew Gregory Dozier of Durham.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials may be given to the charity of the donor's choice.
