She was predeceased by: her parents, George Elroy and Bessie Keaton Odell; her husband Larry G. Pope; and her sisters, Margaret Shockley, Elma London and Nancy Travis.
She is survived by: her daughter Glenda Nance Fowler (Ronald) of Raleigh; her granddaughter Adrienne Chumley Branch (Herby) of Eden; her stepdaughters, Gloria Pope of Clinton, Joann Owens of Turkey, NC, Connie Case of Clinton and Terrie Anders of Clinton; and her brother James E. Odell of Eden.
