He was predeceased by: his parents, Louie Stoots and Dicie Stoots; his wife Idellis Stoots; his former wife Clara Stoots; his sister Louise Matherly; and his grandson Daniel Lee Winn.
He is survived by: his daughters, Pat Keaton Altman of Raleigh and Pam Keaton Marshburn (Randy) of Wilson; his grandchildren, Clair Winn Green of Raleigh and Lauren Marshburn Cain (Erich) of Raleigh; and his great grandchildren, Emma Clair Green of Raleigh and Bryan Keaton Green of Raleigh.
