He is survived by: his wife Virginia Shelton Cochran; his mother Mildred "Boodie" Martin Cochran; his children, James Lawson and Shannon Cochran; his stepdaughter Melissa Walker; his sisters, Marcie Oldham and Rose Black; his nieces, Dee Dee Boyd, Brandy Cochran and Lei Harvey; his great-nephew Levi Jobe; and his cousin Perry Davis. He is also survived by four grand children, four step grand children, two great nephews, one great niece.
