She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Heffinger and Merwyn Dehart Heffinger; her former husband Winfred "Wimpy" Uriel Caldwell; her daughter Cindy C. Anthony; and her siblings, Faye Heffinger Murphy and Denzel Heffinger.
She is survived by: her children, Carmel "Chip" G. Caldwell of Brown Summitt, Kim Thomas Caldwell of Eden and Wendy Caldwell Kasten of Eden; her grandchildren, Jeannie, Tracey Caldwell of Greensboro and Matthew Kasten of Eden; her great grandchild Gabe Kasten of Eden; her sons-in-law, Larry Kasten of Eden and Jimmy Anthony of Patrick Springs; her friend Peggy Shockley East of Eden; and her nieces, Freda Joyner of Florida and Jan Dee Soblit of Virginia.
