She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Edward and Nonnie Matherly Fuqua; and her husband Raymond Dillard Overby, Sr.. She is survived by: her son Ray Overby (Kim) of Winston-Salem; her siblings, Thelma Barker of Eden, Margaret Fuqua of Reidsville and Paul Fuqua of Florida; her niece Carmen Adams of Greensboro; and her nephew Barker of Virginia.
