He is survived by: his wife Jane Pulliam Carter; his daughters, Angela Sprague (Vincent) of Eden and Melissa Carter Wilhelm of Eden; his grandchildren, Joseph Morgan, Austin Wilson, Sean Hunter Wilhelm and Lauren Wilhelm; and his great grandchildren, MaKinzley, Jonah and Alayna.
