We are sad to announce that on March 28, 2020, at the age of 87, Joseph E. Kirks (Eden, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Kirks and Martha Frazier Kirks; his wife Alice Thacker Kirks; his son Harold Joseph Kirks; and his siblings, Carl, Wallace, Ralph and Barbara Scearce.
He is survived by: his daughter Kathy Scott of Ridgeway; his daughter-in-law Susan A. Kirks of Ridgeway; his granddaughters, Rebekah Vernon (Brandon) of Eden, Bethany Mitchell (Corey) of Roanoke and Christina Coleman of Eden; and his great grandchildren, Lexi, Nathan, Emily, Abigail, Elliott and Mason.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
