It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Maitland Harris (Eden, North Carolina), born in Greensboro, North Carolina, who passed away on May 29, 2013, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Stuart Harris and Edna Harris. He is survived by : his wife Tanya Johnson Harris; his children, Lynn Clifton of Eden, Carolyn Sparkman (Steve) of Lancaster, Kentucky and Christopher Joseph Harris of Nashville, Tennessee; his siblings, Bud Harris (Shirley) of Greensboro, Mary Hoffend of Hypoluxo and Emmy Griffin of Greensboro; his grandchildren, Brandon Buckner, Britney Buckner, Brooke Buckner Jessica Clifton and Bailey McMillan; his great grandchildren, Jayden, Bryson and Colton; his close friend Roach; and his child Church.
